Bio Barrier, LLC and its subsidiaries provide health care infection control services to hospital facilities, and other large institutions in the United States. Its prevention services consist of treating environmental interior surfaces with advanced coatings to prevent and minimize microbial contamination. The value of these coatings is that they are non-toxic, non-leaching, non-migrating and are environmentally safe. There is an unmet need for our product, as current infection control strategies including cleaning protocols are limited in their effects, and are not enough in the fight against hospital acquired infections.

- Effective against a broad spectrum of
microbes
Our product is a new generation of silicone
polymer that has been demonstrated to be a broad-spectrum
bactericide, algaecide, and fungicide. It has also
been proven efficacious against Staphylococcus aureus,
MRSA, Salmonella, E.coli and other Gram(+) and Gram
(-) bacteria such as those that cause odor and staining
of textiles.
- Microbes do not develop resistance
Because of mPale’s unique antimicrobial action,
there is no known or anticipated risk for pathogens
to genetically adapt.

How
Our Antimicrobial Treatment Works
With this safe and affordable interior installation,
Bio Barrier’s certified personnel will apply this
protection to all critical surfaces without interruption
in your facility through our proprietary system. Our
product will remain affixed to a surface or textile
material and will strengthen the existing infection
control & environmental services practices.
We will apply this
advanced nontoxic antimicrobial treatment to all interiors
that covalently or ionically bonds permanently to every
surface, creating a new, safe, and antimicrobial active
surface that destroys pathogens full-time. The new surface
coating that is created acts like bed of sharp thorns;
microbes are punctured like balloons upon contact. This
electromechanical kill mechanism, unlike poisons, minimizes
the risk that the microbe will adapt to the ingested
poison, becoming a super-bug.
